Montana IS a semi-arid state. Really...it is???

Well, it's day #3 of our off-time being "trapped" in the RV. Thought you might enjoy some pics I just took.

Radar as of 10 AM - MDT. Yes, that is snow you see. It's not snow at our elevation, but it's all around us. Current temp - 42 degrees. There are flood warnings to our south and also for two of the local creeks, including one that flows through the center of town. The Clark Fork River flows right along the west side of our campground. This is what we are seeing right now. This same river goes through the ranch.

The pic above was taken from our dinette window. A city worker said he has never seen this campground flood. On the other hand, he also said that, due to the weird weather this spring, road work in the city is so far behind that they never will get caught up before winter comes back. Yes...we do have a plan of action if the water keeps rising.
